This will be a re implementation of AA module as you want to change the COD itself. In prod system you cannot do it. My suggestion, what you can do in dev system create new COD with other necessary config
and treat your current assets as legacy assets with actual parameters and move forward and in PRod delete those current assets to avoid duplication.
But one benefit you have that you don't have FA now.
