Creating a new Cost Center is - at most - a 2 minute step, and it is master data, not configuration. I have to disagree with your consultant here.

In our company we having branches, each branch has business code, but the branches been in different regional areas
for example
Regional Area : A
we have branches numbers : 1-5-6 and 9 only
Regional Area : B
we have branches numbers : 2-3- and 6 only
and so on
Now we are going to convert to SAP 4/Hana
We want to create cost center hierarchy
First we create codes for each region : A-B and C
Second, what is better here to create cost center for each branch/region
Is it better to use like this for region A
A-001
A-005
A-009
or , we should re_sequence all codes like this only
A-001
A-002
A-003
But our requirement is to to keep business codes. |
