1.what about existing orders
2.what about future orders...
I feel simply delete OVAZ combinations for this sales areas..so future order creations can be restricted...close all the existing orders with rejection reasons..so also use distribution chain specific block at MMR...we can use this blocking reason based on sales process type like..inquiry,quotation,sales order,return order,credit/debit memos etc...at config level...hope it helps..

Thanks for the reply! Can you think of any other affected areas of master data we would need to consider in the cutover to the new sales org. disty channel then what I listed below. They are looking to immediately stop processing in this current sales org., disty channel. I can remove the abiliity to select this disty channel in config but what about all the documents created or pending.
Sales Orders, Quotes, Contract, Pending Deliveries, Pending Open/Not Cleared invoices, Customer Masters, Material Masters, PO's attached to TAS or third party Sales orders.
These would all need to be cutover & closed out. We have longer lead time products and could have booking into 2017 or 2018 already in this sales area they want to stop using. |
