The data are directly attributed to an employee 2. You have to provide the same look and feel for data update/view in PA30/PA20 3. You want to add the data entry as part of an info group 4. You want to implement time constraints for the data 5. You want to use the data in Payroll schema/PCR 6. You want to consider the data changes invoke retro runs or not 7. The data are not derived/calculated values You will generally choose a Z table when 1. You want to store Employee independent data 2. You want to store Employee dependent Calculated/ derived values 3. You want to have a totally independent sub system 4. When you do not want to have any of the info type requirement stated above
