I have the similar requirement. Posted many questions about this but could not get much help. Finally, I have tried the following it is working fine.
1st Method if it is a numeric value.
1. Define TT_NEW as reference characteristic (SDCOM-VKOND).
2. Populate the value to TT_NEW in configuration.
3. Define new condition type in the PP, add a alt calc routine. The value which was passed from configuration can be read in pricing routines in xvckey[] stricture. And you can apply the price to the condition type by assigning the value to XKWERT.
2nd Method.
1. Define TT_NEW as reference characteristic(VCSD_UPDATE- look for available field in there). If you populate the value here, it will get directly updated onto the sales order. Later it can be read in sales order pricing.
