Hello.

No, it's not an error. The Chart of Accounts is a single entity that gets extended to one or more company codes, not the other way around. In other words, one account can be extended to many company codes but the account does not change in the other companies.

You would have to create another account in the Chart of Accounts, extend that one to the second company and not to the first.

Under FS00, we can create a g/l for assets group for company code 1. If you copy the same gl to company code 2 and edit the description of gl and save, then gl wil be copied to company code 2. If you come back to company code 1 and click change button to do some alterations then you can see that the altered description for compny code 2 is appearing in company code 1. Is that an error?
