Reply from yellowdoor on Jul 13 at 5:45 AM Hi Sunny, Thank you for your advice on this. I have set up a storage type as Bulk Storage and confirmed some SU's into one bulk bin. When creating a TO to remove an SU from the Bulk Storage Type, the system prompts for an SU number to be manually entered during TO creation. This allows me to enter my preferred SU but at the wrong time, as the user will not know which SU they want to pick until they are standing at the bin after the TO has been created. The config that I have completed is: 1. New SU managed storage type with Putaway B (allows mixed storage and addition to stock). Stock removal strategy L (LIFO). 2. Created a Bulk Structure - Stacks = 30 and Stack height = 1 (30 SU's allowed in the bin) 3. In SU strategies, I have defined the Bulk Storage Area to allow for Partial qty management and no batch management consideration. Have I missed something in the config? Thanks, Mark

Sunnyboy Sent: Friday, July 10, 2015 11:54 AM Subject: Change Source Storage Unit During TO Confirmation If you use a storage type called ' bulk storage ' (B) a TO will not have the from SU dictated in the TO. Therefore you have to pick from bin X but can choose any SU in that bin. This is I think what you ask for and can be setup without any exists. Normally ' bulk storage' is used for floor-stock, but you can easily use it for racking stock too. Check the custo which has some tweaks about capacity and batch-management. | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
