F2F is file-to-file. Could be anything.

S2S is stock-to-sales. Involves MM, Customer - could be CRM, inventory, SD, etc.

C2C is Customer-to-cash. Implies FI, SD, something to sell - could involve production planning, others.

That said, you cannot infer the "version" of SAP; a new implementation could be multiple products based on ECC 6 in some form. The only thing you could do is guess at the modules.
