Same Org units, positions, CC's etc can not exist in both companies.
Please give details of what data objects have been copied.
In IMG, personnel areas are assigned with a company code.
In PD for an OU, a CC can be assigned; it is inherited by the OU's & positions under it. The lower OU's or positions can be over-rided by assigning a CC.
In PA, CC is brought from the PD data into IT 1 for display. It is not entered in IT 1. Here again in IT 27, CC can be over-rided.

I copied an existing company to a new one. When I try to post payroll to accounting I get message:
"Account assignment objects are incorrect. No substitution is possible.
Message no. 3G209
Diagnosis
The account assignment object check showed that, from the point of view of CO, the specified account assignment is not valid, and cannot be replaced by the employee's master cost center or a substitute cost center. This item cannot be posted. "
The cost center assigned to employee (IT 0002) has validity period : 01.01.1909 to 31.12.9999. i am running payroll for period 01.04.2014 to 30.04.2014.
The same cost center is assigned to Org unit and position.
What am I missing?
