Reply from JG-SAPHR on Mar 12 at 5:51 PM Changing the date type will not have any impact. Date type can be of any value. The IT 41 record needs to have the date type, and must be valid for the whole period from the date when the employee started service.
For pro-rating, check the reduction rule used for accrual. The rule should indicate pro-rating for the whole period, and with the condition that the working hrs > zero.

Hi SAP Experts.
Currently we are determining seniority in time evaluation for absence quotas from IT0000, But customer wants it to do Via a date type which was created by them.
I have tested it with Standard date type 01, where it works but not calculating the pro-ration. is there any way we can achieve this using own date type in standard or through PCR, is that possible.?
