A General Ledger upgrade was performed in the PEC system and for financial reasons was not performed in the DEC system. As a result I am now in the process of doing a system copy to replace my Dev system, DEC. I have a client 500 in Production, and clients 200 and 230 in DEV. I do not have a Content Server and as a result the SOFFCONT1 table is 137GB. I am planning on installing a Content Server in the future but for now, it's only planned. I was wondering if the following process makes sense, or even possible. 1. Perform System Copy of Prod to DEV. 2. Perform all post-copy steps in DEV, i.e CTMS, etc... 2. Perform Client Copy in DEV of 500 to 230. 3. Delete Client 500 after successful copy to 230. 3. Perform Client Copy of 230 to 200 (Excluding SOFFCONT1 table.) (The main reason for the exclusion is the amount of time the copy takes. Also, I am assuming that any documents contained in SOFFCONT1 would be unnecessary in the Development client.) I would prefer to exclude the SOFFCONT1 table to the 230 client as well if possible. Any suggestions/corrections on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated, Thank you very much. | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | In the Spotlight Become a blogger at Toolbox.com and share your expertise with the community.
