I encountered the same issue when I tried to create an eCATT script for SU01. I discovered that SAP rewrote the programs behind SU01 & SU10, even changing the screen field names. When my TCD (Record) recording got to the Roles tab, I put in values for several roles but after saving and going to maintain parameters, I found no fields for roles.
I found an OSS note (1694357 - Missing Release Note for Changes in User Maintenance) advising eCATT Batch Input no longer works in SU01 or SU10. Use SU01_OLD or SU10_OLD for eCATT scripting.
I tried to record with SU01_OLD and got the immediate response "Report SAPMSUU0_OLD is obsolete". - No solution.

We have just upgraded our SAP system to V731 SP4. I found that I have to recreate my SECATT scripts for creating users using SU01. I am in the spot where you define/adjust the input variables. I see user name, password, etc. However, I do not see any entries for the 10 roles I input. Has anyone found a way around this?
