Reply from JG-SAPHR on Nov 14 at 4:15 AM In V_T559L, (or in IMG, search under PT, for generation rules), you need to create a (generation) selection rule for the absence quota for each grouping. The rule number is to be the same in all groupings; but the rule for a grouping may be different compared to the ones in the other grouping/s. Under this, there are other tables/views that you may need to configure - (i)base entitlement (V_T559E) - all groupings may not have same number of hrs per year; some may even have zero. (ii)rounding rules (T559R) - e.g., to round off to the nearest half hour, (iii)reduction rules (T559M) - e.g., to reduce for part time. The abs quota type may need a date type to define when the anniversary starts for an employee. For example, annual leave may have the employee's service start date as the anniversary date; i.e., if an empl started on 14/01/2011, the next anniversary will be on 14/01/2012. For this purpose a)in T548Y, a date type (say Z1) needs to be created in T548Y. b)in IT 41, for an employee, the date type Z1 and a date has to be entered. When an employee is hired, it is possible to create the IT 41 in dynamic actions. For existing employee you may use LSMW to upload the date type and value with a spread sheet or .csv file using PA30 txn in the recording.
