This problem (of the old IT 2006 record being added to) will happen if the validity period of the record is, for example, high date, or including the validity period of the new quota generation. As the new entitlement 's validity is within the validity period of an existing IT 2006 record, it is added to the same record; else a new record is created. However in PT50, accrual tab will show the new accrual. 2. IT 3 should be set not to retro prior to rehire date. This can be done using dynamic actions. In other words, if the personnel action is re-hire, and if the employee's payroll area is relevant to payroll, call a routine to set the IT 3 - Time evaluation - Earl. pers. rec. date (field PRTEV) = rehire date. Some customers (incl. ones I have worked with) also prefer to set the earliest payroll retro date to that of the pay period corresponding to the rehire date. For example for a monthly payroll starting on say 1st of each month, if the rehire is on 14th Nov 2013, the IT 3 - Payroll - Earl.pers. RA date (PRDAT) is set to 1st Nov 2013.
