If payroll area is locked for maintenance it means that Master Data is still open. Check whether any employee's Master data is still open.

On inputting a certain holiday request, I keep getting a 'Payroll Z0 locked' error message. I've tried looking into what could be the problem and how to resolve it but with no luck. Any ideas?
