Create a new depreciation key and do the required configuration.
after that , try to change the depreciation key in the assets.
Don't change in AFAMA, not a good idea as far as i know.

I have got one more to add. I need to change the dep method from WDV to SLM... for which I have created a new dep key in AFAMS. Here, what would be the Validity Start ?? and what would I need to do in AFAMA.
