Thanks for your reply. I think we found the solution to the issue by activating "propose posting change at storage bin" in the storage type definition view. In this way the interim bin is maintained.

I think, for transfer posting the interim storage type should be 920 to 923 not a 916. If my understanding is correct, then you suppose to change the source & destination storage type & bin under LE - WM - Activities - Transfers - Define movement types.
Correct me if i'm wrong !!
