from main asset, if you change that you can have a different capitalization
date on sub asset.

We want to capitalize the Variable frequency drive installed in various plants. For that I have created sub asset code using T-code AS-11 but in that the date of depreciation showing the original date of Capitalization of main asset.
So, I want to know how system calculates the depreciation on the same? Is it starts from the date of creation of Sub asset code or the date of capitalization of main asset code?
Can any explain this scenario with detailed solution?
