Reply from pbrugier on Oct 26 at 6:20 AM Ok, solved : in fact KSII screen is misleading. The price given in KSII is simply : Total costs for cost element included in the splitting (OKES) / total hours of all activity types included in the splitting (OKES). And it displays this for each activity type ... I don't know why, for me it doesn't make sense ! Because when you run orders reevaluation later on (in my case I work with networks, so CJN2), the amount to be dispatched to orders is exactly the one that can be found in KSB1, and a split is made, to balance the cost center. There is still a bit of mystery, as the split amounts in CJN2 do not correspond to the ones expected (a little bit higher for one activity type, and a little bit lower for the other), so further investigation needed, but the main point is : do not consider too closely the price in KSII, as it seems different, to my understanding, than what is done later on in CJN2 for instance.

I try then to use KSII, but when I run it, I get as a result : - activity type AT1 : qty = 8 hours (correct), but Total Price = 500 - activity type AT2 : qty = 12 hours (correct), but Total Price = 500 As if in fact KSII was calculating Total cost (10000) / Total hours (12+8 ) => 500 and dispach this equally to both activity types, whereas I expect : - activity type AT1 : Total Price = 10000 / 8 = 1250 - activity type AT2 : Total Price = 10000 / 12 = 833.33 to later on balance to cost center with transaction CJN2. Further information : Customizing done in OKEV (price calculation activated in version 0) Customizing done in OKES/OKEW, with a splitting structure assigned to the cost center : - 1 line with all cost elements relevant for dispatch, including cost element CE1 above, with rule based on activity quantity, and the 2 activity types AT1 and AT2. - 1 line with all cost elements excluded from dispatch, with rule "no splitting". Running KSS2 gives the correct result : - act type AT1 : 10000 x 8/20 = 4000 - act type AT2 : 10000 x 12/20 = 6000 So any idea why KSSI does not finish the correct calculation done by KSS2 ? Thank you very much for your help Patrick | | Reply to this email to post your response. __.____._ | _.____.__ |
