corection-
We want the 101 and 102 cost centers to receive 74% and 26% respectively.
So, in calculating our KSC7 allocation weights we perform the following:
101 cost ctr: 74% x 18550
102 cost ctr: 26% x 18550*

Subject: Indirect Activity Allocations

Hello,
I am trying to tie out to the hrs used for my overhead cost center allocations in KSBL. And getting lost in the process.

We use IAA (variable portion/plan activity).
Sender Value
3xx cost ctr (OVHD acvitity type) 12 HRs planned for yr.

Receiver
101 cost ctr (Machine Hrs) 7494 Planed in kp27
102 cost ctr (Machine Hrs) 11056 Planned in kp26

We want the 101 and 102 cost centers to receive 74% and 26% respectively.
So, in calculating our KSC7 allocation weights we perform the following:
101 cost ctr: 74% x 18550
102 cost ctr: 26% x 11056
=
Weighted Hrs
101 ctr: 13727
102 ctr: 4823

Weighted Hrs/ Planned Hrs
101: 13727/7494 =1.8317
102: 4823/11056 =0.4236
X factor per of 10,000

Receiver Weighting Factor
101: 18,317
102: 4,236

But when I got to KSBL after running price calc and alloctions ( KSPI and KSCB) i see strange hours. off about 3% what i want allocated of 74% and 26%.

Getting the following hrs
101: 8.494HRS
102: 3.506HRS

101: 8.494/12 = 70.78%
102 3.507/23 = 29.22%

If that made any sense, please let me know what I am missing!!

Thanks,
Tim
