Can you tell us if your problem is that you get 1 long line of text in your box which is then cut off?
Or can you type in multiple lines and it cuts off when you reach the bottom of the page?

I'm using Adobe Live Cycle Designer
In fact, if you are using a Text object, you do not have the "Allow
multiple lines".
Select your text box In the Object tab, there is a Sub-Tab name Field. The
first attribute is Type (Text Field) then Caption then Apperance. Below,
there is a check box named "Allow Multiple Lines"
It has to be a Text Field, not only a Text. You can change your Text
object to a Text Field Object
