If you want to maintain Tax Depreciation area.then you need to assign
Chart of depreciation to your company code and in that Chart of
Depreciation you can create Tax depreciation area.For doing that go to
Define depreciation ares in Asset Accounting in SPRO screen.I am not
understanding the need of country option for creating Tax depreciation
area and for maintaining Asset block details.
