Just remove some of the columns. The maximum font size come when you get
it down to 80.
If you click change layout, you will see list width. That tells you how
many characters across it is trying to print. You can remove whole
columns. You can force the columns into less (but any data that exceeds
that setting will be trimmed off). Changing that setting is the length in
the change layout popup.
ALV will choose the largest font that it has available that it can get to
total width into the printing. Your font options are:
X_65_255
X_65_200
X_58_170
X_65_132
X_90_120
X_44_120
X_65_80

PS: of course you could leave ALV and output in Smartform or Adobe and then
your possibilities are practically endless...
