Reply from Lou on Jun 22 at 1:28 AM Period control is until 062012 only, and your transaction is on 052013. By standard SAP, it will not be possible to future-date a posting in MM. You must close all previous periods until you come to 052013.
Your other option is to post in 062012, since your need is to present to client only. You should be able to deliver the same effect if you try to use open periods.

We have a retail 4-5-4 calender with the following as the periods for calender year 2012
1 28 12 0
2 25 1 +1
3 31 2 +1
4 28 3 +1
5 26 4 +1
6 30 5 +1
7 28 6 +1
8 25 7 +1
9 29 8 +1
10 27 9 +1
11 24 10 +1
12 29 11 +1
12 31 12 +1
The issue is we are not able to post any MM transactions in period 5 fiscal year 2013. When I checked OMSY I found that the period control is 06 2012.
Note: we are still in the blue print phase and I am trying to build some examples in the system to concince the client.
Any help at the earliest is highly appreciated. |
