Unfortunately, this is the standard functionality of SAP i.e. you can add a new component to your PM work order after it is released. If you wish to prevent it (which is quite strange to me), then you should discuss in more details with your PM specialist to enhance the system.

I have a problem, users create a PM work order and raise a reservation document for items that they need to complete the work at hand. After approval they are still able to add some more items to the same reservation and pick the items from the store, this added line items bypass the HOD and he has no idea what his juniors have added. |
