We are trying to grant maintenance mechanicas SAP use.
Namely they are trying to find parts stored in the tool crib. The issues is while searching for a given part number some of the numbers in the system get cut off after 30 digits.
when searching for part nunumber *23456789* nothing comes up
for example" ze0123456, screw, joe schmoes screw and nut emporium, 2" is the shortened version that is searchable
but " ze0123456, screw, joe schmoes screw and nut emporium, 23456789" is the full po text which contains the part number.
If I could search the PO text or full descriptions I could have found the part
is this possible and if so how? |
