I would believe the end user used MIGO or MB1A instead of MBST for material document reversal with movement type 202. Hence, SAP did not control the "over-quantity" posting.

Dear Expert,
One of my user reversed/cancelled a material issue document using movement 202. Instead of reversing the issued quantity the system generated three Material Document with the same number but with different quantities. When I tried to display the material document in MIGO I got an error message that the document does not exist in the current Financial year. As a result my book balance for the drug has been distorted. Can someone explain the mix up and what might have gone terribly wrong?
