Subject: PA03 : Change Payroll Control Record to Exit Mode Feb 2012
Hi,
1. To go to a pay period nn/2012 for a payroll area, in txn PA03
a) Display the payroll ctl rec. Note down the details
b) Create the ctl rec for the period nn-1 with the other details from a)
c) Release payroll area. This brings the payroll area to period nn/2012.
d) Change the ctl rec to correction.
2. Enter any data required for the period.
If you want to run payroll for all employees, then you need to set their payroll status to correction (a SAP utility pgm is available for this).
3. Run time eval for the period and payroll area. This will execute for the empl who have a change impacting PDC recalc.
4. Release the payroll area.
5. Run payroll for the period. This will also run for the payroll impacted employees.
6. Run payroll reports for these empl, check if results are correct.
If not go back to the step 1d).
7. Run posting and other reports for the affected employees.
