Hello Jagan

Thank you for replying to my question. Here is the scenario:

An employee receives a total cost to company package of R911 031.00. The calculations is as follow - R911 031 X 12 * 65% = R49 347.51 (basic salary).

On IT0008 I have created wage type /TPA. The clients want to use this wage type to carry the total package of R911 031. Once entering /TPA then the basic salary of R49 347 must be calculated. There must be a wage type called other cash which must automatically be calculated as a remainder amount. All other wage types like car allowance, entertainment allowance, housing allowance will be advised amounts. The total amount on IT0008 must be the basic salary which will not be reduced during all these calculations.

I hope that you will be able to assist.

Regards
Sherine

Subject: Rule in Payroll to Reduce the Total Package by 65 Percent

I have to configure total cost to company for all executives and Snr management. They will receive a salary package which will be entered into IT0008 as /TPA and that amount has to be reduced with 65%. I just need some guidance/direction where to start.
