if it is real time, the change in Fiscal year variant is not at all advisable, you will be landing in big problem, change in fiscal variant if at all mandatory, first take the back up data.recently we have tried for one of my client we did Reconciliation and advisable thing is you need to have 6 months strategy for this.

Can anyone please provide me the solution on the below issue:
"Fiscal year variant R2 is not maintained for calendar year 2008" error comes when I display the asset.
I have changed the fiscal year variant from V9 to shortend fiscal year.I have read the documentation for the change in fiscal year variant but still getting this error.
Would appreciate if anyone can help in resolving this issue.
