SOLVED. It was because overwrite mode was activated. Disable overwrite mode for logging. Then performed a backup.

I have performed a backup via MaxDB Database Manager and via SAP however the database still seems to think I haven't performed a backup. If I look at the logs in the database manager and SAP they show logs of successfully backups. Have any of you had this issue and how did you fix it? The reason why I am asking as I would like to activate automatic log backups however this cannot be done as the system thinks I have not performed a database backup? I have performed system copy's with the backups so the backup is 100% consistent. "No backup item in the history found. A complete data backup is required to perform an incremental data or log backup or activate the automatic log backup." You're help will be greatly appreciated. | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
