It could be that currency can not be changed for ledgers. That seems normally the rule with ledgers.
Do you mean the conversion of the EUR amount to USD amounts? usually you can not just change config once entry is made. Conversion/translation of amounts once entered in database table are not automatic/possible.
Or do you just mean config setting?
