We are having a Fax issue. We are replacing our current RightFax servers with a new server. The new server is not getting a "Success Acknowledgement" returned to SAP. I think the problem is on the RightFax side, but the admin. can't find it. Any ideas?
Here's a recap:
Current server:
Prod.- Sap sends fax to Rightfax server. Rightfax server sends fax out. Rightfax send "ack" back to SAP. SOST shows "GREEN"
Non-Prod. - Sap sends fax to Rightfax server. Rightfax server sends fax out. Rightfax DOES NOT send "ack" back to SAP. SOST shows "GREY Triangle".
New Server:
Prod.- Sap sends fax to Rightfax server. Rightfax server sends fax out. Rightfax DOES NOT send "ack" back to SAP. SOST shows "GREY Triangle".
Non-Prod. - Sap sends fax to Rightfax server. Rightfax server sends fax out. Rightfax DOES NOT send "ack" back to SAP. SOST shows "GREY Triangle".
RFC Trace error message:
On what I think is probably the acknowledgement back I see the following in the trace:
"CALL_FUNCTION_SIGNON_INCOMPL
Reply from SAP (OSS):
Please check at the "RightFax" new server to see if it's configured to
require some kind of authentication, since the RFC destination is using
a registered program.
Perhaps the "RightFax" new server does not require authentication, but
it has some kind of "access list" which informs which servers can send
faxes through it.
