Hi Suzanne, Dave has provided most of key messages that I can offer. Basically, SAP has modified its program logic and include it in the OSS Note so that once it is applied, no further code change is required at your end. Cheers, HT

I've had OSS Note 561593 applied to our DEV box in order to make the PO creator (not the PO releaser) the sender (as seen in the "FROM" line) of the PO, which is emailed to the vendor. I realize this note is a system MOD, but this delivers exactly what our purchasing stakeholders would like i.e. creator of the order is the sender of the Email. The actual emailing of the order and the core configuration is working fine with the PO via Email (transmission medium 5) But, there is no effect (no system behavior change) after applying the OSS note i.e. the sender of the PO via Email remains the releaser's name , NOT the creator's name of the PO. Has anyone had any direct experience with this OSS note and, if so, hopefully you might share your success (or other experience)? I should point out that, yes, like many, we are using a custom version of the print program (SAPFM06P) and also custom version of MEDRUCK. So, I'm wondering if we have 'commented out' some standard code from either of those, which 'nullifies' or 'blocks' whatever the OSS note code is trying to deliver. Also, I should say we're on ECC 6.0 EhP 4 (no switches turned on) and our system is set to SMTP. I'm a functional analyst, so I suppose I should have an ABAPer trace me in test? Thanks very much!
