I looked and I could not find it. It must have been removed for this was quite a few years ago. SAP indicates to utilize their consultancy because this is a huge impact to your PRD system. Other solution would be to create a new company and start up with beginning balances.

Hi all Currently we are on a non-calendar fiscal year running from July to June. My client wants to move to calendar fiscal year starting from January 2012. I know that moving to a different fiscal year in production environment is not merely a series of configuration changes, but it would a mini project in itself. But conceptually, how do we go about this change? Initially I thought of going with a shortened fiscal year from July 2011 and Dec 2011. If we call this shortened fiscal year as 2012, then what do we name the fiscal year Jan 2012 to Dec 2012 once we move into the new calendar fiscal year? We cannot call it FY 2012 again, obviously. Or is there a different approach in these kind of scenarios? What is the best way in my scenario? If you can share your experiences or any information regarding fiscal year change, that would be highly appreciated. Thanks Vamsi | | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author.
