I am also having the same issue not able to display report header using FM REUSE_ALV_HIERARCHIAL_LIST . Can you post the solution .

Thanks for your cooperation... It's done. That was a silly mistake...I tried passing the values to events table directly instead of using Reuse_alv_events_get and it worked.
