Hi Mr. Sindhu,
There is no difference between the depreciation calculation method in old or
new.
As we have different types of dep method Eg:- straight line method,declining
method.
Calculation will be accounting to the method you selected in you customizing
like straight line or declining .

We are in the process of upgrading to ECC 6. We use SAP's standard straight line depreciation method for assets. We are planning to go with the new depreciation calculation in ECC6. I have gone over oss note 965032 and also tested different asset transactions to see if there is difference in depreciation between old and new calculation method - I don't see any.
Could you please give your input - if your company went with old or new depreciation calculation method? What differences did you see - if any?
