Adobe Interactive Forms are the latest forms technology being pushed by SAP. Our company has evaluated Adobe Interactive forms, and our conclusion is that they are more geared toward-as the name implies-interactive applications, not printed forms. It seems to me that there is a lot of "technology overhead" associated with the Adobe solution that is just fluff if all you want to do is print stuff out.
Another alternative that is supported by SAP is Crystal Reports. I don't know how tightly integrated Crystal is with SAP's ERP product, but our "Business Intelligence" group (the folks who run our BW and Business Objects installations) swear by it. I'd say Crystal is worth a look.
