Toolbox sap-hr Hi SAN Tax calc is a complex issue. Best is to pursue with SAP or BSI support as they have suggested above. You may be able to do it through a PCR to some extent as below: Change the specs for an eval class or proc class which is free and not used as below: I have also seen eval classes extended beyond 20 and proc classes extended beyond 99, by using a z table. That needs a good amt of deve effort. Eval class say 18: Eval class 18 specs: Changes for USTAX 00 - no impact UT - Utah - xx - xx pcr ZBC1 */**** D VWTCL 68 * ADDWT * 2 D EVCLS 18 2 ** ADDWT * 2 UT Z GCY ZBC1J pcr ZBC1 J/**** ... ... Do whatever changes you want here for the w/t, then ADDWT * Hope this helps. Regards, JG

With TUBS 169, Utah has removed the supplemental payment method regular and set the system default method for supplemental payments to "concurrent" that means that Supplemental wages should be added to regular wages and taxed using the W-4 ONLY FOR UTAH tax authority. We have seen that the our Wage types XYZ are set up with processing class 68 with specification of 2 (supplemental payment) and thus this is being passed on from SAP to the BSI interface as payment type Supplemental ( separate from the other regular payments ) , the PT ( payment type is being passed as SUP ). I understand that we can have group overrides for these UTAH employees in IT 0234 , but that may not be a feasible option for our business: Just as an additional information for this wage type we just changed the processing class 68 specification of 2 (supplemental payment) to a specification of 1 ( regular payment ) this also worked well. But we do not want to change this specification as there are other tax authorities who would NOT want to add Supplemental wages XYZ with regular wages and tax them together like NY. How can we make this change specific to UTAH tax authority? Has anyone had this problem , have you done something with the UPAR function any advise would be helpful
