Thanks for the reply.
The fields are not marked as NO_OUT" or "TECH".
The field catalog is generated field by field specifying fieldname, text, position etc. No Macro/FM/Class etc is used.

Hi All,
An ABAP report program which displays output in an ALV Grid is executed in the background. Upon checking the spool request generated it is observed that some columns are missing in the output. Also the output alignment is highly faulty. The ALV heading as well as column headings have come correctly. The output has 13 columns. The columns missing are those that are having character values. This problem is not observed for other reports with ALV Grid display but with lesser number of columns.
Kindly suggest how this issue can be resolved.
