Dear community, We are currently implementing a SAP PT shift planning prototype for a customer and it seems that their major requirement cannot be met by the SAP standard. The background: they have 8 organizational units with a total of 320 employees (30 per unit).Per unit we have 3 different work schedule rules (4 weeks, 24/7) for different sorts of employees. The shift plans are look like this: "7 days night shift -1 day off - 7 days day shift - 13 days off" The customer is not really satisfied with the standard SAP approach of defining requirements only in cases of necessities like sickness etc. They prefer a permanent overview (certainly with some future months available) of the target plans and the permanent requirement, where for each position (or employees functional groups) requirements are defined and green. And, if changes are made (sickness, substitution etc) the requirement field at the bottom changes to "red" automatically. You might imagine that we are not looking forward to define the 100%-requirement for each unit on a daily basis using shift abbreviations (also considering lots of future months) Certainly it would be much more comfortable by using only the work schedule rule for the requirements definition. Our question is now: does anybody know how to get a work schedule rule (from T508a) as a select option into PP67? Or another way of getting this issue solved? Have we may be overseen something in the config, are there some user exits, badis etc.? As they're not interested in any third party software solutions we need to meet their demands in SAP only and we are a little bit worrying that this issue might be a no-go reason for a complete implementation. Thanks in advance for all useful comments, help etc. Ralf | __.____._ Copyright © 2011 Toolbox.com and message author. Toolbox.com 4343 N.
