We are in the middle of an upgrade from PT 8.49 to 8.50 and HR 8.9 to 9.1. In the non-prod environments that have been upgraded, field lookups are taking exponentially longer than in the production system. Oracle 10.2.0.5 (prd on 10.2.0.4) on RH 4u8. Everything except the DB is running on wintel systems. non-prd has 2 CPU, 12 GB RAM and prd is 4 CPU 8 GM.
This particular application - recruiting, adding an order is taking a lot of time loading the search record, and then, once in the record, the lookups for hiring and HR manager are taking 20+ seconds each. The table contains about 30k records, and we limit to 300 returned.
In any case, given all of this information, has anyone had performance issues with the 8.5 upgrade?
