Dear experts,
I met a case when I do CK40N for inventory costing, the system cost one HALB material by master recipe, and cost another HALB material by routing.
The above two HALB materials all cost by the same costing variant ZINV, in the IMG, the customizing of Routing selection for costing variant ZINV is as follows:
01 1 N 1 Production 4 Released (general)
01 2 N 1 Production 2 Released for order
01 3 2 1 Production 3 Released for costing
01 4 2 1 Production 4 Released (general)
01 5 2 1 Production 2 Released for order
And I checked the costing1 view for the two materials, there are production version maintained for both, in the production version, both use master recipe as the task list type.
As I know, when a material is cost, the system will determine a routing by following sequence:
1/ Enter in material cost estimate directly.
2/ Maintain production verion in material master costing1
3/ Costing variant/quantity structure control
For my case, I don't understand, both materials are maintained with production version and in the production version, both use master recipe, but when costing run, why the system choose routing for one of the material?
By the way, I checked the recipe for the two materials, both are valid 2010.01.01 to 9999.12.31, lot size are all from 0 to 9999999999KG, that means, both recipe are all valid when costing run.
Could anyone kindly give me a hint what could be the possible reason?
