Hi Mart,
How's about PO?. Does it mean in the past, no warning message was popped up when the configurable material is entered in the PO but such system behavior is no longer available at present?

Hello there
When I attempt to create a PO line for a configurable material, a pop up box is displayed with the message "No configuration yet maintained for material " (message O6 836). We have configured materials before and this does not happen in SD, instead we see a pop up box
Material in KMAT type
Class (300) and characteristics created and assigned to material
Material is configurable set in basic data 2
Settings ,ade in CU42 - released, process plnd/prod order (not sure about this) and bom application BEST Inventory management (not sure about this either) - I have always done SD type before
After pop up message - icon is available on material data tab and appears to work fine
Any ideas how to avoid the pop up message and go straight into the configuration box?
