Re: spool output, you can go to the properties and set the end date till which you want to keep it.
Similarly, for job logs that you want to keep you may be able to set the end date.
Also, there must be a regular job that runs to clear job logs etc. You may be able to change the job set up so that you can archive the log etc.
In any case, if you want to keep data, it has its own cost - like hardware to retain, archiving and retrieving software maintenance.
