Dean, No, I do not see the event in dev_rd. And as to when. This has been happening 'forever'. But we (I) was hoping that the ECC upgrade and associated new OS/DB servers would automagically fix this issue. Yesterday though we impacted our warehouse and thus our customers so I thought this forum might have some additional ideas for me. The network folks have looked and each time see nothing. We have moved SAP background jobs and tape backup jobs of the OS. The only job that I know is running during the 0000-0100 timeframe is the database backup which starts at 2300 and typically ends by 0800 - the database is over 600 GB. FYi - it did not happen this morning. Thank you for your time, Carla

Yesterday it started on AppServer1 (0000-0022), moved to AppServer6 (0100-0117) and then on to AppServer2 (1058 1108) ? This morning it was AppServer4 and it happened between 0100 & 0200 The SAP application, the Client and the User change On the database server there are no indications of issues in the system or SQL Server error logs On the SAP application server(s) there are SAP log entries (dev_w0) corresponding to the dumps (example sent yesterday) but nothing in the system error logs. The dev_w0 shows OpenOledbConnection errors: Login timeout expired, An error has occurred while establishing a connection, TCP Provider: No connection could be made because...
