Hi,
You need XML foile for ABAP stack when upgrade to Enhancement packs, or to JAVA in all cases.

For the project to update our Solution Manger to EHP1, MOPZwas used to calculate the stack for SP 24. All the files were downloaded. SAINT for the ABAP stack will be used. The SAP docs below seem to be contradicting each other about the XML file:

"This is a list of notes that must be taken intoaccount for the Solution Manager Maintenance Optimizer before generating an XML for the upgrade to Solution Manager7.0 Stack 18."
UPDATE GUIDE SAP ENHANCEMENT PACKAGE 1 FOR SAP SOLUTIONMANGER 7.0
"The download stack is defined in maintenanceoptimizer. It is consumed by SAINT and JSPM – the latter also reads the stack configuration file (SCF) generated bymaintenance optimizer, which is needed in JSPM."
There is no XML configuration file in what Idownloaded. Is the XML conf. file justfor JSPM? Please advise. |
