Hi Janice,
The MR21 only change the future price and revaluation the inventory value,No pasted cost can be revaluation.
btw, your cost is in cross-plant case. I think it should be decided on the special procurement type. If you want to update the STD price of B1,u can run the SCE again. But, as the stock value of B1 is calculated by this formula: value=std price *qty,u will get the variances.

Thanks &regards

Subject: Can MR21 to revaluation consumption?

Hi,

I have a question about MR21.
The semi-finished product "a1" of plant A is the component of finished product "b1" in plant B. During the period, the price of product "a1" is $100. The component cost of finished product "b1" is $100. At the end of period, I changed the price from 100 to 120 by using MR21. It only change the ending inventory value, the component cost of finished product "b1" is still 100, not change as 120. Can MR21 to revaluation consumption as 120? Or what process can revaluate the component cost of finished product "b1" as 120? Thank you !

Best regards,
Janice
