Thanks a lot for your help. But I still could not finish the issue.
@TerryB: I think I've tried your method, but it will describe the predefined type of the column, like c, or d, or n, not the types in the abap dictionary like Quan, curr, char and so on.
@soldner: may be your suggestion help, but I'm implementing the ALV due to an old way, which help me to edit the fields of a table. But by this way we don't use class cl_salv_column_table anymore, but use a fieldcatalog with the function module "REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY_LVC".
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Hello every one. I have an issue that I really need your help. I want to check the data type of a field in an ALV, so that I can specialize the funtionalities for each column that has the same type. For example I want to check whether the field type is QUAN, or CURR, and so on... I wonder if I could use a method of a class or a function module to do this. Thanks for you help !
