I suppose using reason code 02 ( for normal reversal ) or reason code 04 (
for negative reversal ) is what one needs to resort to. In the system, by
default, these reason codes allow reversal using a different posting date
other than the one on the original document. Only that it has to be ensured
that the posting period (OB52) remains open during the reversal.
